Jul 22, 2016 · MTU is not ping, or latency. A standard MTU is always around ~1500 for Ethernet (unless Jumbo Frames is enabled). It is just the packet size. If you are having trouble with MTU is due to the network adapter or router configuration. MTU is not controlled at application level.
