The Feedback Assistant app for iOS and macOS includes several convenient features: Automatic on-device diagnostics. There's no need to manually collect and attach a sysdiagnose for each bug. With your permission, Feedback Assistant can also execute area-specific diagnostics, allowing you to send information beyond the scope of a sysdiagnose.
So, the developer Steve Trouton Smith found in iOS 10.3 there is a hidden diagnostic mode that will be used by employees of service centers and Apple stores to identify problems with the iPhone and iPad. Function, which is called CheckerBoard, allows you to detect problems with the iOS device using special software not available in normal use. Check the number for call forwarding if no service is available. Just like the previous, except for no-service rather than no-answer situations. *#67# and tap Call. Check the number for call forwarding when the iPhone is busy. And again, but for when the iPhone is busy. *#33# and tap Call. Check for call control bars. Click the Apple icon and install the profile. Go back to your browser, and type in "diags://". Once that has loaded, enter "123456" for the ticket number. Click quick test for the device logs, and click on extended test for power usage information + device logs. The tool isnt on your device. Apples tool just grabs the data from settings > privacy > diagnostics and usage > diagnostics and usage data and displays it an easy to use interface.
The validation to check the ticket number is valid is quite poor as the app only checks that it has received a HTTP 200. An invalid ticket number will return a 401 unauthorised but we can fix this with Fiddler 🙂 Below is what the app sends to Apple; it includes a list of the applications on the device (including Cydia so the Apple rep will know whether my device is JailBroken or not!), some battery stats and more

Here’s how to enter diagnostics mode (dubbed CheckerBoard) on iOS 10.3 powered iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. It’s amazing what can be found in beta releases of iOS, and there are few better at discovering such things than developer Steve Troughton-Smith.

Jan 20, 2016 · In current iTunes, you can test Network connectivity, CD/DVD drive, test iOS device connectivity, test iOS device sync. If your iPhone iPad or iPod is not being detected by Windows PC or not recognized in iTunes, you choose both “ Device connectivity tests ” and “ Device sync tests “. iTunes will then begain the tests and you will be presented with the tests results. The same way an app using the .NET 4.0 SDK may not work on a system only supporting .NET 2.0, a library built using .NET 4.0 may not work on Xamarin.iOS, it may use API not present on Xamarin.iOS. The general solution is to build the library as a Xamarin.iOS Class Library. The validation to check the ticket number is valid is quite poor as the app only checks that it has received a HTTP 200. After downloading it was painfully apparent this app is not a Diagnostic Tool for the iPhone. It’s extremely aggravating when you do a search in the wrong information is given. I do not think that there is any diagnostic software that is available for an end user, that will tell you exactly what is wrong with the iPhone. That would be to easy;-) From what I've read if your phone shows panic.plist. then you may have a hardware error, not very descriptive.
